ALL THE TEA ON SAMSUNG GALAXY S24 SERIES: GALAXY AI

The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 Series of the year has finally been unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event. This happened on Wednesday, 17th January 2024 at San Jose, California. Samsung unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S24 series, showcasing the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Inside Galaxy AI

Samsung has promised a seven 7 years system update. This is one of the major announcements that was made at the unpacked event, and it’s a step further for Samsung in the production of flagship smartphones.

Real time translation: Galaxy AI is offering live translation of calls and messages in different languages to promote easy communication. You don’t need to struggle with a language guide book when asking for directions, that’s for sure.

Chat assist: This detects a message and translates it for you. Chat assist will make tone changes to your notes, chats and messages, making the communication experience easier. PS, there is even a Shakespearean tone! The Samsung Galaxy chat assist feature will work for your messages and other apps.

Android Auto: Allows you to easily access GPS and summarize messages. It replies your messages for you and also sends an ETA upon request.

Speech to text: Voice recording just got better. You don’t have to use third party apps to transcribe your audio. Galaxy AI is introducing this feature and what’s more, it comes in different languages. To top it up, it can create a summary of what was recorded.

Note Assist: Helps you organize and, your notes, giving it headings and bullet structure. It can also summarize your notes to key bullet points if you don’t intend on sharing the whole information. This feature will come in handy, organize and especially for writers or people that take lots of notes.

Circle to search: Samsung is partnering with google to satisfy our curiosities. Circle to search works by long pressing the home button the. You click the pop up and search for for whatever you’re curios about. Be it bags, shoes, glasses, foods and so much more.

Other major Features

Camera stabilization: Say goodbye to lags and hello to more stabilized videos. The Quad Tele System comes with a 5x optical zoom lens that works with the 50MP sensor to enable optical-quality performance at zoom levels from 2x, 3x, 5x to 10x, thanks to Adaptive Pixel Sensor. You also get HDR enabled photos for Instagram, and this is the first of its kind. The S24 series comes with Provisual which enables you watch a video in slo-mo even if it wasn’t recorded in slo-mo at inception.

Quick Share: Personally, I think this is one of the underrated feature. It’s basically the new airdrop. You can easily transfer files and this is not limited to Samsung users only, it works across all android devices via link.

Improved Heat Dispension: Samsung has created a wider area for heat to pass out to prevent the phone from quickly heating and I must say, this is very impressive because it is something that Samsung users deal with most times which can be quite tiring.
