Google launches it’s own largest and most capable AI model, Gemini

Google has launched It’s Largest and Most Capable highly anticipated artificial intelligence software, Gemini 1.0, featuring three optimized models:

Gemini Ultra for complex tasks, Gemini Pro for versatile scaling, and Gemini Nano for efficient on-device tasks

Gemini Ultra: Defining Complexity.

As result of years of research and development by Google’s AI team, led by Jeff Dean, the senior vice president of Google Research and Health.

According to Dean, Gemini is designed to “push the boundaries of what AI can do across a wide range of domains and applications”.

One of the most impressive applications of Gemini is the upgraded version of Google’s chatbot Bard, now powered by Gemini Pro.

Bard is a conversational agent that can answer questions, generate text, and engage in natural dialogues with users. Bard was first introduced in 2022 as a competitor to OpenAI’s GPT-3, a large-scale language model that can generate coherent and diverse texts.
